André Wilms was a French film and television actor who also appeared in German and Finnish films. Wilms was born on 29 April 1947, in Strasbourg, France.
Wilms became well known when he emerged as the winner of the Best Supporting European Actor award at the 1992 European Film Awards for his work in Aki Kaurismäki’s La Vie de bohème.
Wilms died on 9 February 2022, at the age of 74. The actual cause of his death is yet to be revealed. His family has refused to reveal the cause of his death for reasons known just to themselves.
