Mike Weaver, Jay Weaver, Joe Shirk, Jeremy Redmon, and Brian Beihl make up the American contemporary Christian band Big Daddy Weave, based in Mobile, Alabama. The band is signed to Fervent Records.
During their time at the University of Mobile, the band members met. Mike Weaver was a worship leader at a church in Pensacola, Florida, and he was also a student at a local community college. On his pastor’s advice, he enrolled in the university to study voice.
Big Daddy Weave played with Mark Schultz on his “Broken and Beautiful” Tour in 2006 and 2007. With guest artist Josh Wilson, they headlined the “What Life Would Be Like” Tour in 2009.
