Hillsman presently works at the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) as a residential manager. Speaking of her ex-boyfriend, Rick Fox’s career; Fox is a Canadian actor and retired basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. He also played university basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Fox was picked by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 1991 NBA draft. As a member of the Celtics, he became the first beginner starter on opening night since Larry Bird in 1979. He then made the 1992 NBA All-Rookie Second Team after averaging 8 points per game. He was a critical member of the Celtics’ 1993 playoff run, averaging 4.3 rebounds and 11.7 points per game in the playoffs.

In the summer of 1997, the Celtics released Fox, and he signed a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers where he played a key role in the Lakers’ three-peat championship run from 2000 to 2002, averaging 2.7 assists, 9.8 points, and 3.9 rebounds per game in the playoffs during those three seasons.
