Markwayne Mullin is an American businessman and politician who has served as the junior United States senator from Oklahoma since 2023.
Mullin is an enrolled Cherokee Nation member. He was one of five Native Americans elected to the 117th Congress.
He is the first Native American senator elected to the United States Senate in nearly two decades, and the second Cherokee Nation resident elected to the Senate.
