Nick Santora was born in Queens, New York, and is a writer and producer. Santora attended Columbia Law School and practised law for six years before deciding to create and produce television full-time. In the New York Independent International Film Festival, he received Best Screenplay of the Competition. He also developed and executive produced Beauty and the Geek, as well as writing and/or producing The Sopranos, The Guardian, Law & Order, Prison Break, and Lie To Me. Breakout Kings is a television series that Nick co-wrote, created, and executive produced. Nick is recognised as a writer for the Lionsgate/Marvel picture The Punisher: War Zone and wrote and produced The Longshots [a Weinstein Co./Dimension feature starring Ice Cube]. Borders Books Stores chose Santora’s first novel, Slip & Fall, as the debut novel for their newly formed publishing division. It went on to become a national best seller. Fifteen Digits, his second book, was released by Little Brown’s suspense/thriller brand, Mulholland Books, in 2012. Sandstorm, his first original comic book series, was acquired by DC Comics.
