Milly Alcock is an actress from Australia. In 2021, Alcock was cast as the young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, a Dragonrider of pure Valyrian blood, in House of the Dragon, a Game of Thrones prequel series that premiered on August 21, 2022.

House of the Dragon is an American fantasy drama television series that is a prequel to Game of Thrones (2011-2019), both of which are based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels.

House of the Dragon is set approximately 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones 172 years before Daenerys Targaryen’s birth.

The series chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen, the events leading up to and covering the Targaryen war of succession known as the “Dance of the Dragons.”

It also chronicles the “continent-burning warfare”  that explodes between Targaryen Princess Rhaenyra and her stepmother, Queen Alicent
